Expertise in qualitative methods of data collection and analysis: Lead researchers participated to an 80-hour Master-Class on Focus Groups, held by Dr. Olga Melnikova, Faculty of Psychology of the Moscow State University

Expertise in quantitative methods of data processing and analysis: key staff, data input operators and quantitative data analysts participated to an advanced training course in statistics and SPSS software, held by Mr. Ashot Kakosyan, PHD, Faculty of Mathematical Modelling and Econometrics of the Yerevan State University

Innovative approach: use of a wide range of modern social-psychological techniques of qualitative data collection and analysis (such as laddering, mind-mapping, verbal and non-verbal associations, personification, “bubbles”, expressive pictures) to get to the bottom roots of the public opinion

A team of over 30 trained interviewers nationwide with extensive experience of data collection from difficult and hard-to-reach target groups, such as children, refugees, trafficking victims, juvenile and adult offenders, government, and large business owners

Cross-Regional Information System (CRIS) on the Reintegration of Migrants in their Countries of Origin

The Cross-Regional Information System on the Reintegration of Migrants in their Countries of Origin is led by the European University Institute, under the supervision of Prof. Jean-Pierre Cassarino. AST is a fully-fledged partner of this project aimed at addressing the social, economic, legal and institutional factors shaping returnees’ patterns of reintegration in their countries of origin.
